Federica Vernuccio
Dr. Vernuccio is a board-certified Italian radiologist, with advanced fellowship training in abdominal imaging at Beaujon hospital in France and at Duke University. She got the Italian habilitation (ASN) for an associate professorship in radiology in 2019 at the age of 31 and is now ending her Ph.D. program at both the University of Palermo and the University of Paris.Dr. Vernuccio is a passionate advocate for young women in radiology and is highly dedicated to research in liver imaging, including radiomics.

- Visiting Radiology Trainee at Beaujon Hospital in 2015-2016
- Visiting Associate at Duke University, Durham (US) in 2017-2018
- Board Certified in Radiology (cum laude) at the University of Palermo on 09/08/2018 (5-year specialty training program)
- Since November 2017, Ph.D. Student at University of Palermo and University of Paris, and since 2019 works as a radiologist at University Hospital of Palermo
- Fellow of ESGAR since June 2019
