Swati Deshmukh
Assistant Professor at Northwestern University
Dr. Deshmukh has trained at multiple premier institutions, including Yale University, Stanford School of Medicine, and Johns Hopkins Hospital before coming to Northwestern University as a Musculoskeletal Radiologist. She provides both diagnostic and interventional imaging services related to bones, muscles, joints, spine, nerves, and soft tissues of the extremities. She has extensive research experience with expertise in high-resolution MSK ultrasound, peripheral nerve imaging, and sarcopenia. Additional interests include medical improv for trainee education, advocating for equality and inclusion, and leading physician wellness initiatives.
